​​​​​​​Janne Lautanala has been appointed Chief Ecosystem and Technology Officer of Traffic Management Finland Group (TMFG) from 1 August 2019. He will be responsible for the traffic management company’s technology and ecosystem development.

Neste Rally Finland, which is part of the World Rally Championship, takes place in Jyväskylä on 1–4 August 2019. The four-day race will also affect the traffic arrangements in the area. You are advised to find out about these arrangements in advance.

Mikko Saariaho has been appointed Chief Impact Officer of Traffic Management Finland Group (TMFG) from 1 September 2019. His responsibility area covers increasing the impact of the company and supporting the transformation of the traffic market. Chief Impact Officer is also in charge of the company’s communications, stakeholder relations and TMFG strategy process. Chief Impact Officer is a member of TMFG’s Group Leadership Team and reports to CEO Juko Hakala.

For the first time ever, general aviation aircraft, drones, and recreational remote-controlled model aircraft safely shared the airspace above and around an operational airfield during the first demo at the East Helsinki Aerodrome in Pyhtää, Finland, on June 11.

Sanna Reponen has started as Group Transformation Lead at TMFG in early June. The Group Transformation Lead supports the development of new business operations. Sanna also acts as the facilitator for the Group Executive Board and supports the Group in developing executive reporting and Group practices. She will report to CEO Juko Hakala.

The fully state-owned traffic control conglomerate Traffic Management Finland Group started its operations at the beginning of 2019. It comprises the parent company Traffic Management Finland Ltd (TMF) and its subsidiaries specific to the form of traffic.

Juko Hakala, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been appointed CEO of Traffic Management Finland Group. His duties also include acting as Chairman of the Group’s Executive Board and subsidiary Boards of Directors.

Traffic Management Finland is a new state-owned special assignment company responsible for traffic control and management. Operation started at 1st of January 2019.
