Installation work will take place in the Kuparivuori tunnel in Naantali (road 189) from 1 to 12 September 2025, which will require a full closure of the tunnel.
During the installation work, traffic will be directed to a detour on the Naantali road network running along the route Satamatie – Uolevi Raaden katu – Kuparivuorentie.
The tunnel will be opened to traffic as soon as the installation work has been completed.
During the work, barriers will be installed in the tunnel so that traffic can be stopped safely in the event of future accidents, disruptions, and maintenance work. At present, the tunnel is equipped with traffic lights to stop traffic, but in the future, there will also be barriers to supplement the lights.
