Juko Hakala, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been appointed CEO of Traffic Management Finland Group. His duties also include acting as Chairman of the Group’s Executive Board and subsidiary Boards of Directors.
Juko Hakala has a strong background in information technology and business management. He has previously worked as CEO of Affecto Plc and in a number of senior management positions at Accenture.
“The goal of the Group is to meet the changing needs of society and customers. In addition to ensuring the daily safety and smooth running of traffic, the Group’s task is to facilitate the emergence of new digital mobility and logistics services. Safe collection, management and provision of traffic-related information for the use of the traffic ecosystem is a key part of the Group’s role. Juko Hakala has long-running and strong experience in developing and operating demanding digital service systems from patient systems in health care to media services used by millions of consumers”, says Pertti Korhonen, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors.
“Safe and smoothly running traffic in all its different forms is an important backbone of our society. Traffic volumes, forms and technologies are developing rapidly and, accordingly, there is also a growing need for more efficient management of their environmental impacts.
